Suggest Treatment For Anal Fissures

Dr I am suffering from annal fissures. Since yesterday whenever I am passing stools it is bleeding. I visited a Dr and she has given me a laxative, local application cream, tablet for acidity and daflon. She said the bleeding will stop in a couple of days. Is the diagnosis of the dr correct ?

hello.
welcome to HCM.
see, your history is very short.
so a complete diagnosis cannot be made, also without proper examination diagnosis should not be given.
but if you have anal fissure, your doctor has given you very proper medications.
i would add some more like change your diet to soft non-fatty diet with more fruits and vegetables and take small frequent meals.
but i must add that it is a recurrent condition and it might get well but occur again.
then you should consult a surgeon and surgical management can be done alongwith conservative treatment.

hope this was helpful.
regards
