hi i have anal fistula and there is now pus over there n i am prescribed bidanzen forte and lizoforce 600 and azithral 250 my this problem is since last 10 years n i was operated also for it twice before but now it keeps on coming and pus makes its own way n gets out n i also take sitz bath n for last quiet sometime i instead of surgery take medicines for this problem whenever it comes is it right or what shld i do
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Since you are a known patient of fistula-in-ano take Bidanzen Forte, Lizoforce and Azithral as advised by your Doctor. Since you have been operated twice and have this problem for 10 years I would advise you the following: Get an opinion of a General surgeon or a Proctologist. Get MRI and traditional fistulogram to know whether this is low anal or high anal fistula to decide the further management. If this is low anal fistula a wide local excision can help you to get cured and the specimen should be sent for histopathology so that the cause like tuberculosis can be known which itself will need a proper management. If this is a high anal fistula then you need a staged surgery or Ksharsutra like procedures.
