Suggest Treatment For Anal Pain

Severe pain in anus, especially during bowel movements. 3 more days it will be 2 weeks. The pain has subsided significantly. I now have a cold, coughing, experiencing slight pain and stiffness in muscle below anus (below if I were standing) when I cough. Again pain is not coming from anus but muscle in between legs 1/2 in below rectum. Used entire tube of prep-h. Pain much better but just a little worried.

Thank you for your question.
From the history which you have provided,I am considering a diagnosis of externa l haemorroids. In this condition there is a prolapse of rectal mucosa whch is caused due to excessive straining while passing stools or due to hard stools.
You can use a gel for the pain-lignocaine gel 2.5% apply it locally and also
use a sitz bath-pour a capfull of betadine solution in a tub of warm water and sit in it.do this twice a day.
you could also include a lot of fibre in your diet which will ease your bowel movements.add plenty of salads and fruits to your diet.
i hope this information will be helpful to you.do get back to me if you need any help.
regards,
Dr.Radhika
