Hi my name is Tina and I have endometriosis, I was diagnose 10 yrs ago and I was never treated and for the past several yrs I have been experiencing hair loss my and inflammation on my scalp. it go worse after I was in a car accident in 2012. I was diagnose with androgenic alopecia in July of 2013. I have lost a lot of hair and am losing hair. I went to 4 dermatologist who specialize in hair restoration all 4 said they cannot help restore my hair. I believe that I have PCOS but I have not been diagnose. I do not know where to go and what to do anymore.
I can understand your concern for hair loss. Hair fall can be due to any long term illness or any emotional or stressful event and due to nutritional deficiency or hormonal influence.
I can make out that you are female but you have not mentioned your age so that a better hormonal therapy could be suggested. It would be best to start with proper hormone related medicines to control PCOS as well as hair fall.
If I were your dermatologist then would have prescribed you tablet containing Acetylcysteine, Calcium Pantothenate, Selenium, Zinc, Biotin, Copper as active ingredients. You can take these vitamins in the form of biotin, calicium pantothenate and other vitamin B complexes.
You can start minoxidil lotion under strict dermatological guidance. Take care.
