Hello,

It looks like you have either a fracture/hairline fracture or dislocation. Get an X-Ray done to detect sprain, tendon injury, dislocation or fracture. Get physically examined by an orthopedic surgeon.

Since there is swelling & pain do not massage, do not put the pressure of your weight on it. Stay at rest. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Toe pain commonly occurs when there is a sprain or the peripheral nerve gets pinched or affected.

However, there can be a fracture. To get relieved from the pain you can take Acetaminophen. Take calcium supplements for faster recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
