Hello, I have studied your case and you are right in thinking that it is adverse effect of Warferrin. This drug causes pain in finger through various mechanism. Most common can be due to dislodgement of an emboli. You have not mentioned if your finger is cynosed or discolored. I would suggest you to avoid any more injection. You need to see your doctor, get your INR. You might need a dose adjustment. Also get an x ray of the hand. It will show if there is any arthritic changes in your hand. Hot water fomentation will be helpful for you. Let me know if you want to ask any other questions. thanks
