I am 24 weeks pregnant and have been doing crossfit for over a year. Today I was doing a back squat with 35lbs (very low weight for me) and all of a sudden I felt a tingling burst. It didn t hurt initially just felt weird. I rolled on a foam roller and a lacrosse ball to loosen it immediately after it happened. I continued and finished th workout with no problems. Now however, my tailbone really hurts. I can t sit down on it normally, I iced it and still hurts.
Please avoid heavy workout during pregnancy youmigth injure yourself or baby. In pregnancy your spine is already strained due to baby weight so pain in back is very common. It might get aggrevayed by lifting heavyweight bad posture prolonged standing. Try to avoid them. Try to sit with staight back and back support with stretched out legs . sleep on oneshoulder orelse takea pillow under back. U can try yoga for the same . use local volini cream for back. Take care
