Suggest Treatment For Bad Odor Excessive Sweating On The Feet
Hi there, i have been over sweating on my feet for the last 2 years. I consulted many doctors n they said it is normal to sweat n prescribed some antipersipirant n some anti bacterial tablets. But nothing worked. So finally i learned from internet that my liver could be damaged. That s why i have this excessive sweating n foul body odour. Can i take MILK THISTLE . Will it help to stop my sweating . Thanks.
Hi Excessive sweating when it is generalised may be a result of increased metabolic rate as happens in hyperthyroidism or it may be localised to palms and soles when more often it is due to a symapthetic overdrive or anxiety. it may be a cuse of great social stigmatisation apart from predisposing to bad odour and fungal infections. in your case since it is localised to the soles you can use wet soaks at night in case of mild sweating . in addition topical antiperspirants like aldry which contain aluminium chloride hexahydrate applied at night mey help. In case it is more sever you may contact your dermatologist for iontophoresis which utilises direct current and may be done 2 to 3 times a week. A good alternative but expensive one is Botulinum toxin injections which give a long term control of sweating. Taking milk thistle will not really help
