Suggest Treatment For Bipolar Disorder With Destructive Actions
taking seroquel 200mg at night, suspected bipolar 2 also taking valium to settle daytime agitation. having massive, untriggered rage, destructive actions (breaking shit) racing thoughts and talking too fast to even understand myself. about 3 times in last 2 weeks getting worse, psych is on holidays bit frightened im going to hurt someone
Seroquel is qutiapine and is a good anti-psychotic drug with mood stabiliser action. The dose of 200 mg at night is perfectly adequate and will help in improvement. Valium at day time to reduce agitation is good option but it can cause sedation and it have abuse potential also. Try to avoid using this drug daily unless prescribed by doctor.
You have mentioned that your psychiatrist is on holidays and you are getting more and more aggressive symptoms. In this case you can take 50 mg of qutiapine in day time to reduce aggression. The drug will control the mood symptoms effectively and is free of serious side effects. Talk with some family member about your aggression and avoid going out for some time till your psychiatrist comes back.
Thanks
