Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I understand that you have been going through a difficult time due to your mental health problems. From the description of your symptoms, it appears that you are indeed suffering from a
Bipolar disorder. You seem to be going through periods of
depression and mania, which are characteristic of Bipolar disorder.
Bipolar disorder can be treated and your symptoms can be effectively controlled with regular intake of medication. There are medication called mood stabilizers like
Lithium,
Valproate,
Carbamazepine, etc. which can prevent mood fluctuations and help you lead as normal a life as possible. But it is important to remember that these medication have to be regularly and continuously, sometimes even life long. This is because Bipolar disorder cannot be cured completely or eradicated, but it can be kept under control with regular medication.
Also, avoiding taking substances like alcohol, tobacco and drugs is important, because these can worsen your symptoms. It is also important to maintain a healthy lifestyle with regular sleeping habits and avoid
stress as much as possible.
So, I would suggest that you
consult a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and further treatment.
Wish you all the best.
Regards,
