Suggest Treatment For Black Spots On The Scrotum And Penis Apart From Testicular Pain
Hello I have developed black spots on my scrotum and penis. And pain in my testicles. Done urine culture nothing comes out. Been on Doxycycline a number of times nothing clears. Now i also have chills early in the morning. Been given gentamicin vancomycin
Your symptoms are suggestive of Angiokeratoma of Fordyce. The spots occur due to dilated blood vessels. Pain is also a symptom. These spots are harmless but get it clinically examined by a urologist or GP to rule out FB (Fabry's disease), that is passed genetically.
You will have to get few investigations done, like X-ray, CT, few lab tests, and tissue samples for biopsy to rule out skin cancer or melanoma. Angiokeratoma of Fordyce does not require any treatment as it is harmless but for cosmetic purposes it can be removed by laser techniques, cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
