Suggest Treatment For Bladder Infection In A 88 Year Old Female

my 88 yr old mother just moved in and does not have a doctor yet. She is on Medicare. We believe she has a bladder infection. Is there an over the counter drug that can relieve her discomfort. She is afraid of hospitals especially because she does not have a doctor at this time.

I would like further information for better assessment of the condition like
Her age and relevant medical history like diabetes or any other metabolic disease
What all symptoms she is having?

In my opinion ask her to have plenty of fluids
urine alkalizing syrup can be given to her
She can take hot water bath or hot hip bath

She may require a course of antibiotics if she is found to have infection on urine cutter test
