Suggest Treatment For Bleeding During Pregnancy

I am about 3 weeks pregnant, yesterday I had a gush of red blood, later that evening I was just spotting brown blood. I went to the hospital and they told me was cervix was closed and took a blood test to record my hcg level. Today I'm just spotting brown blood and passed a very very dark brown clot. Am I miscarrying.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Bleeding a\in early weeks of pregnancy in confirmed pregnancy is labelled as thretened abortion.It is not possible to see ultrasonographic picture of pregnancy, till you are 5 weeks pregnant.
You have already tested blood HCG level-a recheck after 46- 72 hours should normally show double the value in viable fetus.Please get it repeated after 72 hours till then,
Take bed rest,avoid physical/psychological stress.
Have light food,fresh juices, milk.
-start taking progesteron supplements in oral/ injection form with your doctor's advise.Tab Isoxuprine hcl tablets in case you have cramps, To stop bleeding hemostatics (CVP GYnae)are usually given.
-After 72 hrs check blood HCG level to test viability of fetus.
* After 5 weeks get USG abdomen /pelvic probe to confirm controlled abortion/ viable fetus..& continue with treatment & bed rest as per advised.
* In case both the tests ( HCG & USG )are -ve, you have to think of terminatting the pregnancy.
