Suggest Treatment For Bleeding From The Penis After Having Sex

Penis bleeds after sex. Went to the doctor and he give me oral antibiotics. He said my prostate was inflamed and have an infection. That didn t work. Next step was a shot of antibiotics in the prostate. It cleared up about four weeks but now the bleeding is back. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Need to get semen examination to look for any infection or associated inflammation. If infection is present, as it is recurrent, culture and sensitivity for identification of appropriate antibiotics is necessary.
2. If not trauma is seen, evaluation for hemostatic abnormality is needed.
3. PT, aPTT, platelet count evaluation is necessary is necessary.
4. Meet your doctor for further tests, antibiotics and treatment.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
