I have a bit of bleeding in one eye in the white portion. There is no pain, no injury. I was not aware of it until someone else ask me if I knew there was blood in my eye. This occurred yesterday, I think, while I was gardening: digging hole in clay soil and mulching, lifting heavy bags of mulch. After gardening today I had a quarter size puddle of blood on my cheek. Will this heal itself?
The haemorrage(bleeding) may be due to heavy weight lifting during gardening. Due to pressure small fragile capillaries of conjunctiva(white poryion of eye) ruptures leading to bleeding. you need not worry for it if it very small. you can safely use following 1.eye drops lubrex or refresh tears 3 times a day (one drop only ) for 5 days 2.tab limcee( vitamin C) 500mg once a day for 5 days .Heamorrage will gradually faint n disappear in 5 to 7 days. if it is nt improving or increasing plz consult ophthalmologist
For blood clot on your cheek. If it is painless and small it would heal on his own and you should not worry.vitamin C would help in improving this too. but if you keep on getting such blood clots elsewhere also on trivial trauma or in past you have faced similar symptoms often then blood investigations to rule out bleeding disorders is required.
