Hello,I can relate what you must be going through.
Since you are in the medical field ,you must have known about the condition of your disorder in depth. And I am sure all medications you have mentioned above have been given very aptly as per your health requirement.
Blepharospasm is a condition which cannot be cured permanently, but can be temporarily relieved with medications.Since you are already on treatment with Regular
Botox injections, which is the most commonly used and preferred treatment among many practitioners, you are on the right track. There are surgical treatments available for the same called Myectomy which is approached only when you are not responding to Botox.
Few things which comes to my mind ,considering your situation is supportive therapy like
1.Wearing tinted sunglasses/dark glasses with ultraviolet blocking which will help you with light sensitivity
2.Involving yourself with support groups(like in BEBRF) will help you find a way to cope up with future activities when you hear others sharing their situation.
3.Finally,try activities that will help to reduce your
stress.
I wish I had other solutions/suggestions to help you out,but as a Nurse you must have seen other patients going through situations worser than yours and as you can understand the disease, be strong and try to over come the situation.Become a member of support group, and think of the positive things you can do with what you have.
Hope this is informative and supportive.Take care.
