Suggest Treatment For Blistering And Reddening Of Skin On The Burnt Area

my right foot was touched with the motor cycle silensor on 21.8.14 which burned my right ankle covering area about 4x2 inches.the doctor advised anti biotic 625 mg thrice a day for three days which i started from 22nd night.regular dressing with applying silverex ointment without bandage is being done.now it is blistering and the skin is reddening on the outer wall of the burned area whenever exertion is done on foot as i attend the office daily. i suffer from fever in the evening for the last 2-3 days. kindly suggest pankaj rastogi ,lucknow

Hi,

You still need antibiotics for few more days as blistering and new lesion is going in favour of current infection and ongoing process of disease. So I would advise you to take CEFTRIAXONE SULBACTAM 1 g IV in order to heal the lesion and prevent scarring. Daily dressing and cleaning is also necessary for wound healing.
