Suggest Treatment For Bloated Stomach And Soreness Due To Ectopic Pregnancy

I've been told I had ectopic pregnancy... Was given the injection last Friday. Since then on Tues my HCG went up a little from 240 to 490.. Went in today and went back down to 290. I'm having pain on my side and my leg is pain and numb. Is the pain at this point still normal? My stomach is also very bloated and sore.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Injection methotrixate is used in tubal pregnancy for spontaneous abortion,in early stage of pregnancy when tubes are not ruptured.
It needs close observation of HCG levels for a prolonged time to ascertain the abortion. It's good that your level shows a decent.
Moderate pain of leg,side of abdomen /bloating is expected during process of abortion. In case it is troubling you more, check it with your doctor-USg abdomen will confirm tubal condition-& it will be a deciding factor for further line of treatment.
Do not foment/massage abdomen.Take care.
