Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My stomach is constantly hard and bloated. I also have pain with it that runs from the top of the abdomen down to the lower part. I have soft to loose stools and at times have blood in the toilet and when I wipe. What could this be and what are some things I can do to help the problem?
I would suggest you to - - Have a diet rich in fibres - Drink loads of water - Avoid straining during stool - I would also start tablet Pantoprazole to prevent bloating - Toilet training - Avoid spending a lot of time in the toilet - I would suggest you to get a complete hemogram done. - I would also suggest you to get an abdominal ultrasound and a colonoscopy done. It can certainly help to delineate the exact cause.
I would suggest you to visit a gastroenterologist. He/she can examine you and correlate clinically.
Hope this helps. Have a nice day. Regards.
