Suggest Treatment For Bloating And Bleeding After Passing Stools
Hi, I m suffering from bloating of the tummy. I weigh 59kgs and I m a fit and healthy 46 year old woman.. I m a preschool teacher and I m very active, I exercise 3 - 4 times a week .Lately however I have been experiencing pain before I pass a bowel movement and and there has been fresh red blood on the toilet paper. there is no blood in the stool from what I can see, sometimes its a normal motion and sometimes its like diarrhea ...
Hello, 1) Pain before passing stool, fresh blood on toilet paper (not with stool) strongly suggest anal fissure. 2) inner layer of anal canal is injured during excessive straining; that injured part is healed by fibrous tissue and develop anal fissure. 3) Digital rectal examination and proctoscopy is required to confirm the diagnosis, provided there is no pain on touching (severe pain indicates active fissure, in which any intervention is not possible) 4) Once confirmed, treatment depends upon severity of fissure and it ranges from simple medical treatment to surgery. In acute phase of fissure generally medical treatment is suggested to reduce reaction and swelling.
