Suggest Treatment For Bloating When Recovering From Food Poisoning

Hello i Recently got over what i believe was food poisoning,(vomiting, diarrhea, fever). I still have bloating and today i had a light colored bowel movement. I am feeling better and all other symptoms have ceased. Is this something to be overly concerned with?

Hello
excessive bloating could be related to any or following
aerophagia means swallowing of air
Acid peptic disease
Worm infestation
Indigestion or constipation

in my opinion you should consult a gastroenterologist for examination and an upper GI endoscopy

You may require a omeprazole group of drugs with antacids
avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food or carbonated drinks
avoid smoking and alcohol
have probiotics
Plenty of fluids including ORS to counter dehydration

hope this helps you
best wishes
