Suggest Treatment For Blocked Ears Caused By Allergic Rhinitis

Hi, sir my name is sikandar and i am 36 years old . I have been the patient of allergic rinItus since 2000. My left air have been blocked since 2002 . I used anti histamine for allergy but after controlling the hay fever my ears couldn t work properly. I am facing too much problems due to block ears specially the left ear. I pimp my ears means ear opening practice 50 times a day its open temporary . At night there i heard strange sounds in my ear and also I couldn t hear low voice. Plz plz do write some medication . I shall be very thankfull to you for this obligations

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of blocked ears caused by allergic rhintis which is due to blockage of sinuses leading to eustachian tube dysfunction. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proer examination. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( gentamicine ) at least for a week, may clean wax from ears and also prescribe anti inflammatory ear drops. For now cover your ear while bathing , take steam , do warm saline gargles and avoid cold beverages . You should avoid pricking it with any sharp object and ear buds.
