I was just told by my mother s cardiac doctor that her heart s vessels are too small for stents or bypass. She has 75% blockage in most of her heart s arteries. She also has severe cad. He said the only thing that can be done is monitor her and add more medications to her list of meds. She is still at a high risk of having another heart attack. How can I lower her risk factors and how long can someone survive like this? She is 72, diabetic and has hypertension....
