Suggest Treatment For Blocked Nose And Bouts Of Sneezing
Hi,
I am 31 years old. From the past 1 month or so I get sneezes in the morning and also again as soon as i get into office. In the morning when I wake up one side of my nose is blocked. It gets better around afternoon but again it gets worse at night.
Well the symptoms you mention in query such as blocked nose and bouts of sneezing are due to sinusitis which is infection in the sinuses in which lining of the sinus become inflamed and produce mucus. I would suggest you to first of all consult ENT specialist for proper treatment of sinusitis as infection will lower your immunity. You can go for blood test as well. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics (amoxicillin) for at least 10 days , decongestants and antihistamines. If sinusitis is ruled out antibiotics, anti inflammatory medicines, decongestants, saline irrigation, steroid nasal spray and steam inhalation will help you.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
