General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
It is imperative to have a proper diagnosis.
I would advise Him to have an ENT Endoscopy to determine the cause and get a CT scan to determine the exact extent of the disease.
This will lead to a solution to have a full fledged Medical treatment or need to have a surgical intervention.
Additional therapeutic dosage of Vitamin A and D help a lot as also the multivitamins working as an anti-oxidants.
Nasal decongestant drops and steroids do help a lot.
