Suggest Treatment For Blocked Ovary And Difficulty In Conceiving
Age 36 Tubal Reversal done 14 months ago. Started with medication in March of 2014 to try and conceive. No progress so in September of 14 had a laproscopic surgery done and the doctor removed alot of scar tissue. He said when he went in he could hardly see each ovary because of the amount of scar tissue. Also did a test to check tubes....left one works great and the right one is pretty much blocked. Currently on Chlomid and Femara then trigger shot at ovulation time. Day 3 after trigger I take Estrogen then Day 5 progesterone. Sorry this is alot of information. This last ultrasound showed 4 large follicles on my rightside (worst case for me) and 2 small ones on the left. Is it still possible to get pregnant if my dominant is on my rightside.
Hello, Your description is elaborate and pretty good. Though you have a tubal block on the right side, ovulation from the right ovary can lead to a successful pregnancy in utero. Yet, a word of caution should be mentioned about the increased likelihood of ectopic pregnancy in this situation due to the time needed for the ovum to traverse the extra distance. Please go ahead with the prescribed treatment and wait for the result. Tubal motility is also likely to be impeded by the scar tissue. Hope this helps.
