I have noticed a large amount of blood in the toilet after my bowel movement s the last three or four days also I have had two unusual feelings today like how I feel after getting off a fast merry go round. Not sure if I should be concerned and visit the er as I have no medical insurance and don t want bills for no reason.
hello welcome to hcm i can very well understand your concern ... there are many possible causes for presence of blood in and after bowel motions, some of the common causes are --
(1) haemorrhoids i.e bleeding piles (2) anal fissure (3) anal fistulas (4) intestinal infection by parasites like hookworm/giardia/entameba histolytica (5) crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis (6) diverticulitis of the colon (7) ischemia of the colitis (8) intestinal varices (9) polyps of the gastrointestinal tract (10) colorectal cancer
kindly dont take it casually and dont wait, you should urgently visit a surgeon or gastroentrologist who would perform a physical and local examination and will get some tests done if required to to find the underlying cause and will guide you regarding the most appropriate treatment i hope you shall find this information to be useful take care hcm..
