Suggest Treatment For Blood Blister On The Forearm

I m 70 years old. The skin on my forearms has gotten thin, much like parchment paper and I very easily get scratched and bleed sometimes blood pooling below the skin, like a flat blood blister even without breaking the skin.. My father had this as we does my younger brother. Dissipates within a week or two.

hii.welcome to our site.these kinds of blood blisters occurs due to pooling of blood beneath the skin due to some trauma.kindly elevate that area.use antibiotic plus steroid ointment like fusiderm ointment twice daily on that area.apply cold compression on that area.dont squeeze that blister.take analgesics like ibuprofen twice daily for 5 days.consult your dermatologist if it doesnt subside.thank you.
