Suggest Treatment For Blood Clots In The Leg

I am being treated for blood clots in my left leg I got sent home in taking my blood thinner but my leg actually swelled more an my foot feels a little numb I had this in the hospital but not as swollen is this normal should I seek medical help I ve been using a wheelchair an laying down haven t used that leg at all but just curious if I will swell up an down with dvt
