Blood in stools with loose motions can be due to many causes, the first thing to ask is about the duration.
Infectious causes with history of a few days sometimes also called dysentery, can be due to either some virus, bacteria or amoeba.
The mainstay of treatment in these is to keep yourself hydrated with plenty of water and oral rehydration salt with antibiotics used in some cases.
Other causes include decreased blood to the large intestine, inflammation of the large intestine, and rarely cancer of large intestine. It is advised to consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve despite oral rehydration.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
