I had notice that quite large amount of blood flow in my motion on two days back and from then I notice my stool is in drak black color. I don't know from when it is happening, but seen two days back
Daily I will be having my meal outside as I am out on work and this is not my home-town, just came one month back.
Could anyone tell me what is the specific reason for this and sugessions for my diet...
You have to rule out infective aetiology through stool routine micro examination. If stool report shows pus cells than stool culture should be done for further work up.
You can be prescribed antibiotic course like ciprofloxacin and metronidazole meanwhile. Drink lots of water and avoid intake of excess spicy foods. You can include curd in the diet. Avoid excess outside food intake.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
