Suggest Treatment For Blurred Vision And Confusion Due To Juicing Diet

I have been juicing for 6 weeks. Beets, carrots, apples, ginger, spinach and kale. I drink about 8 to 10 oz. per day and have the last couple days been experiencing confusion, blurry vision and yellowing to my hands. Is it from the juice or something else I can t seem to get sufficient answers off the net.

Hello there,
Confusion, blurring of vision and yellowing of skin suggests that you may be experiencing an excess of vitamin A . Also called hypervitaminosis A or carotinemia . Prolonged fad diets along with excess Vitamin A supplementation may lead to this condition. Avoid these fruits/vegetables for a while-Papayas, carrots, apricots, sweet potatoes. Avoid multivitamins also and fish oil supplements. It would take some time for the excess vitamin A to be removed from the system as it is a fat soluble vitamin and does not eliminate in your urine. If it is an option then get your serum Vitamin A, D and E levels checked.

Hope this helps,
