Suggest Treatment For Body Rash And Leg Pain

My mother was diagnosed with severe dementia May 2011 institutionalized since. She had bad reaction to Cyprexa she has been on Aricept after 6 ormore months w/noshower or bath won t let caregivers at nursing home get her to bathe andI daughter only get her to wash occasionally (1x week?) she has very bad rash resembles psoriasis on arms but on back chest and now has traveled down to lower body. She is in Geriatric Psych Ward as of New Year s Day for medication assessment, 78, smoker, very ambulatory only other problems, bad feet bunyons and leg pain, dental. Can you suggest way(s) to help her or a medicine? Thank you.

Hello,
If the rash is similar to psoriasis plauques then a steroid cream would probably help. She really needs to see a dermatologist and may need a biopsy to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment.
