Suggest Treatment For Broken Pinky Finger

I can t afford surgery on pinky finger and the Dr. said it s fractured and has fragments. It swells and turns red when I bend it and it s been 4 months now. It doesn t hurt that much but I know the redness isn t good. I m on antibiotics and steroids from Dr. now and he said if it doesn t improve I ll have to have surgery any suggestions ?
