Suggest Treatment For Broken Ribs

Dec 22nd 2015 I broke several ribs falling through some trusses and the x-ray showed that the cartlidge had pulled away from my ribs. The 14th of May feeling all healed I wiped out in a wave and heard them crunch in the same place. I then flew back to Idaho for my wife s life or death surgery and at the hospital she started to fall and I grabbed her and heard and felt them break again. Is there really anything that can be done. I have broken by ribs numerous times and since I have not given them a chance to heal just wanted another opinion
