Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

I have RA and am currently taking Enbrel and methotrexate among several other meds. Yesterday I was feeling bad checked and had a temp of100.5 & chills. Went to the doctor this morning & he did some blood work. It show. That my d dimer level was elevated so he dida CT scan. Was normal but said it am y have underlying bronchitis. I am seeing my regular doctor tomorrow but was told today to keep a check on my temp. I have taken it several times with different types of devices and it is 96.5. My usual temp is 98.7 as a rule. Not sure if I should be concerned.

It should be treated with inhalational steroids, nebulisers....if there is infective pathology which seems to b less likely in your case, then antibiotics are also needed
