Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis
Hello.I have a bad case of coughing bronchitis. Had chest stray yesterday and was clear. My dr proscribed zpak and gaufenicin ac. I can not sleep after the cough syrup wears off as I am coughing so much.The label says to take at bedtime but doesn t say when I can take it again?Every fours hours etc?

You should start tablet azithromycin 500 mg for 5 days along with a codeine/dextromethorphan syrup 3 times daily.
Sometimes bronchitis are resistant to normal cough and cold treatment band may require a use of inhalers.
In that case you need to start inhalers like seroflo/advair
Steam inhalations three times daily will help
