Hi, my 12 year old son has woken up with a bruise on his forehead but says he didn t bump it. This has happened twice in 2 weeks, the second one appearing during the day. He generally feels fine but has complained about a bad headache only once during the bruising..

HI...spontaneous bruising without even a trivial injury should not be neglected. I feel that he might be having a bleeding disorder (too much fluidity of he blood). He definitely needs evaluation regarding this. I suggest you consult your pediatrician regarding this.
