Suggest Treatment For Bruising On Legs And Ankles And Shortness Of Breath
My daughter has had unexplained bruising on her legs and ankles for a few days, as well as shortness of breath. She had a CBC recently which showed a slightly elevated lympochite count and a low neutrophil count. I am worried about her having a blood cancer disease.
It may be purpuric skin disease called anaphylactoid purpura or Henochs Schonlien purpura. Slight elevation in wbc count does not suggest leukamia. So, do not worry. Consult dermatologist or hematologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Bed rest is advised.Vitamin C and K may be given in proper dose. Antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs may be given. Steroid if needed may be given in tappering dose. Thrombophob oint may be applied on the purpuric patches. She might be improved in few weeks. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
