Suggest Treatment For Bump On Back

Hello. I have a quarter size bump on my back. It s hard and red...similar to a pimple. I squeezed it and a smelly puss and some blood came out. After touching it for a while it starts to hurt. How can I treat this? I thought it was a pimple but I don t think it is anymore

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you may be having infected sebaceous cyst . Treatment of it is analgesic such as diclofenac and antibiotics. Vitamin B and C will help in promoting healing. If it is not healed by it then excisional biopsy of it can be carried out which will exclude other affections. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
