Suggest Treatment For Bump On My 2nd Toe
Hi I have a bump on my 2nd toe that has clear gel like substance in it. It is sticky. I originally thought it was a corn but now believe it may be some kind of cyst. Could this be a symptom of gout and what can I do to get rid of the cyst...it is very tender. Thanks, kristen

Hi.
As per your case history you are having a sebaceous cyst.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and swelling.
4. Only curative treatment is excision under local anesthesia done by a dermato-surgeon.
