Suggest Treatment For Bumps On Inside Of Hand And Itchy Rash On The Outside
Good Afternoon, I have little bumps on the inside of my hand. I had an itchy rash type breakout on the outside of the same hand and it still breaks out from time to time. I was thinking that it was dermatitis. What could this be?? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Shanda
Most probably you may be having lichen urticatus..also called papular urticaria. There may be itchy papulovesicular eruptions on anywhere on body. The lesions might be infected with bacteria. It may be cosidered as hypersensitivity reaction to insects like bed bug, flea, mosquito etc... You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis.
After thorough examination, he might give antihistaminics like levocetirizine to relive itch. Steroid in tappering dose may be needed. If secondary bacteria infection is there, antibiotics may be considered. Apply mild steroid with antibiotic cream. Take all precautions to avoid contact with insects.
This might help you in your treatment. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
