Yes I have tongue colored bumps on the base of my tongue shaped in a v or u. They don t hurt. I have had them for three weeks now. I do not have pain on my tongue and there is no pain when I swollow. I am concerned that it might be cancer. I currently have 8 bumps in that go in a v shape from base to back of tongue and then arouond to the other side.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain tongue coloured bumps on the back/base of tongue that are arranged in a "V" shape or "U" shape seems to be Circumvallate Papillae that are normal anatomical structures containing taste buds.. They are large and prominent so you are getting conf used of having any pathology/disease.. They can however get slightly enlarged in cases like inflammation occurring due to eating hot food, throat inflammation, spicy meals, acid reflux, post nasal drip etc.. But as you do not have any symptoms there does not seems to be any pathology associated with it and is normal appearrence of the papillae
