Suggest Treatment For Burn Scars And Skin Discoloration
Sir, two weeks before I met with fire accident. Top layer skin burned (neck and chin) I used burn heal, metrogel gel, hydro heal ointments. On chin skin is apperaing in thich reddish (black) colour. On neck white spots are appearing... Please suggest me how to make my skin in to normal colour
Seems that you may be developing hypertrophic / keloid scars which are red, raised and sometimes itchy. This type of scaring is very common after a burn and can cause serious disfigurement and restrictions for mobility. Regarding the white spots appearing in that area, they are due to post-inflammatory depigmentation.
Regarding the possible formation of hypertrophic scars, I would suggest that you seek an appointment with a plastic surgeon who would order a custom sized Silicone gel sheet dressing and if the scars have already formed they can be helped by Intralesional injection of Triamcinolone acetonide.
For the white spots, which are post-inflammatory, you could benefit from using a moderately potent topical steroid e,g fluticasone propionate cream, twice daily.
