Wash the area thoroughly with plain water, be gentle with yourself. Never shave the private area without skin sensitivity test. Take care of your hygiene, if sexually active abstain from sex and any sexual activity for a few days. Apply ointment Soframycin or Neomycin on the area affected. Do not touch or scratch. The private area is delicate, it can take a week or two to heal. You can take a course antibiotic like Augmentin orally. Take analgesics to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation. Take low sugar diet to hasten healing. If diabetic, keep your blood glucose level at control.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
