Suggest Treatment For Burning Feeling In Throat After Consuming Vinegar

I was drinking a little bit of vinegar and got strangled. So it went down my windpipe. It s been almost 24 hours. My throat is burning and my chest is congested now. Could it have caused me to get pneumonia or did it just irritate it and will it go away on its own?
