Suggest Treatment For Burning Feeling On Chest

I got this sun burn feeling on my chest, but I haven t been in the sun unless I have a shirt on. It isn t really hurting, but when I touch it seems a little sensitive like a sun burn. I figured its because I m in japan and my allergies are just attacking up since the different weather pattern. I m from United States also.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Sunburn is an inflammatory skin disease caused by exposure to sun in sensitive people. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would suggest..

- sunscreen lotion to apply on exposed parts
- mild steroid cream on affected parts at night
- vitamin C
- antihistaminics
- steroids in tappering dose
- cover the affected area while you are under sun

I hope this would help you.

Thanks
