Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In Legs After Knee Replacement
I had knee replacement 17 months ago. For the last three weeks my right knee and front of my legs is burning so bad. It feels like my leg is sun burn, but not red. I am having high sugar some. If I over work it is worst at night. Thank you, Cheryl Bond. Athens, Ga.
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you had knee replacement 17 months ago. Now you are having burning sensation over your right knee and front of leg. You are also diabetic. It is likely due to peripheral neuropathy. Treatment of it is control of diabetes, Mecobalamine and analgesics such as diclofenac. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.You should got your blood sugar fasting and PP and Vitamin B-12 level to search for cause. However it may be due to diabetes. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
