Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Anus
what can i do to minimize burning in my sons rectum or anal area. he has cp and its difficult to know exactly what he is trying to tell me... he was on cipro for UTI . specialist took him off cipro aft only having 5 doses plus other antibiotics while in ER 2 times for UTI most likely caused from being catherized to get a urine sample

Hello. Thanks for putting your query in hcm. I appreciate your concerns regarding your son. Itching in anus or rectum is due to worm infestation some infection inflammatory bowel disease , anal fissure or hemorrhoids. If feasible get him examined by proctologist to see the cause. Meanwhile give him one tablet of albendazole stat. And apply locally an ointment like smuth. Wish him a good health.
