Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Throat

I vomited this evening and it was so acidic that my mouth and throat are still burning an hour later. I have a sensitive stomach and do suffer from IBS and have had gastritis multiple times in the last couple of years, but I have never experienced so much acid in my vomit. What could have caused this? I had a large meal earlier in the night but not that much came up and it seemed to be almost entirely acid. I have since taken an antacid and drank a glass of water.

dear user

about your question i would like to tell you that these symptoms you mentioned refer mainly to have gastrooesophageal reflux that lead to irritation of the throat as gastric acid reflux reach your throat and lead to consequences of throat irritation and cough..........your feeling of these symptoms should not make you worry as it is common problem.....heavy meals or fatty meals always cause these symptoms as there is maldigestion of heavy meals leads to increase gastric acid regurge that reach your throat and caus it to be irritated....about treatment of that you can take rantidine as it has effect antagonist to gastric acid and also you can take omebrazole which decrease synthesis of gastric acid and you should avoid stress and anxiety and heavy meals or fatty food that may get your symptoms worse.......drinking lemon will not help you as lemon increase acidity of your stomach also avoid more drinking of coffee or tea......wish you healthy life
